Maria is a multidisciplinary artist and creative based in Brooklyn, New York, with her heart somewhere in the Mediterranean. Her work is characterized by playful colors and a restrained, graphic style. She is inspired as much by the tiny details and as she is by big, powerful experiences - both often connected to her Greek heritage.

She exists somewhere between the realms of artist and storyteller, viewing her art as a story, with thousands of words and layers of memories beneath the surface of each piece. Maria’s art is intentionally minimal, yet playful and inviting, always layered with meaning, if you choose to go deeper. (She hopes you do!)
